Our 2023 Outdoor Activity Tracker

December 21, 2022

Looking back over 2022, I’m really proud of how much time we spent outdoors. We used an hourly outdoor tracker to track our progress. When I was thinking about what would help us continue this great momentum, I realized I was struggling with the goal I set to track a specific number of hours for the year. I was focusing on quantity over quality!

I realized that the specific counting up of hours was frustrating me because I’d often forget to count hours or stress about how far “behind” we might be getting.

In 2023, I want to make a change to how our family tracks outdoor time, so I designed this printable. As we complete different activities outside, we will color in the corresponding pictures. I think this will be a much more enjoyable way to keep track of all that we’re doing outdoors.

We’ll be tracking activities like visiting playgrounds, going for walks, practicing sports, playing outdoor games, going to the beach, exploring new places, and more! There are 300 mini activity images to color. Even though we try to get outside at least a little each day, making sure to focus our time outside in 300 specific ways is making me feel less overwhelmed and much more excited about keeping track of our outdoor fun!

I’d love to share our tracker with you! Grab a copy by entering your email address below.
